NRL Grand Final betting has been all in one direction with a massive plunge seeing the Storm firm from $1.95 outsiders to $1.65 favourites to beat the Roosters. The Storm are now favoured by 2.5 points in line betting.
With Billy Slater cleared to play and Cooper Cronk looking increasingly unlikely to suit up, punters have launched into Melbourne.
Bets this week have rolled in at big numbers with $3000 on the Storm +1.5 at $1.80, $2000 on the Storm head to head at $1.82, two $1000 bets on the Storm straight up at $1.82 and $1200 on the Storm to win at $1.82.
One confident punter is betting the blowout too with a $2000 bet at $4.50 on Melbourne winning 13 & Over.
The total has also come in for some betting action with one punter launching $5000 on the under 32.5 total points.
The TAB has also seen some heavy betting on exotics.
One punter has had $300 on Felise Kaufusi to score the first try at $21. Another has had $500 at $5 on Cameron Smith winning his first Clive Churchill Medal. Another has laid down $1600 on a halftime draw.
