BLAIR FACES ONE-MATCH BAN

Warriors forward Adam Blair is facing a one-match suspension after being charged with making dangerous contact with Storm back-rower Kenny Bromwich in Sunday’s clash at Mt Smart Stadium.

Blair was charged over an incident in the 75th minute of the match and faces a one-week ban whether or not he enters an early guilty plea, due to 40 carry-over points and three recent offences in the past two years.

Broncos five-eighth Anthony Milford is facing a fine after being charged with contrary conduct for pulling the hair of Penrith forward Corey Harawira-Naera on Friday night.

Milford will be fined $1150 if he enters an early guilty plea and risks a $1500 fine if he challenges the charge at the judiciary and is found guilty.

The incident occurred in the 70th minute of Brisbane’s 50-18 win over the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Knights forward Aidan Guerra was hit with a dangerous contact charge but can avoid suspension with an early guilty plea.

Guerra was charged for a high shot on Ash Taylor in the 76th minute of Newcastle’s 30-24 defeat of the Titans on Saturday.

In further news Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess has not been charged for a high tackle on Tigers hooker and former Souths teammate Robbie Farah in Saturday’s game won 22-6 by the Tigers.
