One sharp punter had $1000 on the Warriors to win at $1.95 as they look to make it three on the trot.
The late money for the Warriors suggests Issac Luke is set to back up from Test duty despite the long trek back from Denver.
The most backed team this week has been the Newcastle Knights against the hapless Canterbury Bulldogs following news that Aaron Woods had been moved on to Cronulla and that Kieran Foran had been put on ice for the remainder of the season.
One punter had $1000 on Newcastle at $1.75 and they are now into $1.52. The price move hasn’t stopped punters steaming in with one bettor having $2000 on the Knights at $1.52.
The short odds of $1.30 hasn’t deterred one big punter having a lash at Penrith with a $2000 bet on the Panthers to knock off Manly.
There has also been a steady stream of money for the Raiders, who have firmed from +4.5 to +3.5-point underdogs against the Broncos.
Storm speedster Josh Addo-Carr has been backed at $1.82 to score a try against the Roosters this evening.
