One confident Warriors punter has come into the pride of New Zealand with a $1500 bet at $1.75 against the Cowboys. Stephen Kearney’s team gets Roger Tuivasa-Sheck back as they look to win back-to-back games for the first time since Round 5.
The Warriors have been outstanding for punters this year with $1.2M paid out in head-to-head betting on the club through the first 14 rounds, up from $550,000 last year.
Confidence is certainly up among punters with betting on the Warriors up 22% this year.
South Sydney have also met with plenty of support at shorts odds with one punters having $2000 on the Rabbitohs at $1.27 against Parramatta with three separate $1000 plays on the Bunnies at the same odds.
The biggest early bet so far is $4000 on Melbourne at $1.27 to defeat the Knights in Newcastle.
Wests Tigers have been hit with ongoing support all week, shortening from 1.5-point favourites to 3.5-point elects for Sunday’s clash with Canberra.
