Simon Mannering’s injury-enforced hiatus will last at least another week, with the club legend’s name again missing from the team sheet for the Warriors’ Round 4 showdown with Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium.
There has been a significant reshuffle in the forward pack, however.
Sam Lisone’s one-match suspension brings Chris Satae – a standout during the trials – onto the interchange.
Meanwhile, Adam Blair shifts to lock and Agnatius Paasi has been named at prop – effectively a straight swap.
Ligi Sao remains on the bench after dropping back in a late change last week, with Leivaha Pulu retaining his starting second-row role.
Jazz Tevaga (pictured) has kept his interchange spot after a standout display in the heart-stopping win over Canberra. The backline is unchanged for the fourth consecutive round.
“Simon’s getting closer but remains a week-by-week proposition,” said Kearney.
“We lose Sam through suspension which is unfortunate because he has been doing a wonderful job for us off the bench.
“At the same time, it provides an opportunity for Chris, who has been impressive for us in the Intrust Super Premiership.”
