Warriors interchange prop Sam Lisone will miss Saturday’s NRL clash against the Sydney Roosters after the club took early pleas on two dangerous contact charges he was facing.

However, fellow front rower Adam Blair is clear to line up in Sydney after an early guilty plea on a dangerous contact charge he incurred.

Lisone’s grade one charges related to incidents involving Canberra’s Aidan Sezer in the 78th and 79th minutes of the 20-19 victory on Saturday. Each charge carried 75 points meaning Lisone misses one match.

Blair’s seventh-minute grade one dangerous contact offence carried a total of 90 points due to a loading for a prior non-similar offence in the last two years.

Lisone has started the season outstandingly, making a real impact from the interchange bench each time.

In Saturday’s dramatic win over the Raiders, he was on the field at the end featuring in a key play when he carried the ball towards the posts for Shaun Johnson’s match-winning field goal. Lisone finished the match with 113 runs from 10 runs in his 27 minutes on the field while he also made 13 tackles without a miss.
