WARRIORS UNCHANGED FOR ROUND 2 CLASH WITH TITANS

After their strong first-up showing against South Sydney in Round 1, Warriors coach Stephen Kearney has unsurprisingly named an unchanged side their first home game of the season against Gold Coast.

Kearney has retained an identical 1-17 line-up for Saturday’s assignment, while the four reserves in jerseys 18-21 also remain the same.

Simon Mannering is still sidelined by injury, which provides Ligi Sao another chance to impress at lock.

“What we achieved in Perth was certainly pleasing after the players had worked really hard in the preseason,” Kearney told Warriors media.

“The result there brought a sense of relief and also a sense of confidence in the way the players went about executing the game plan.

“But for us it’s now all about this week and preparing well to give us the best chance of performing well on Saturday.”

Leivaha Pulu (pictured) is set to get the chance to play against his former club for the first time, while another ex-Titan, Agnatius Paasi, is in the reserves contingent and recent Gold Coast recruit Karl Lawton should suit up in the InTrust Super Premiership curtain-raiser.

The Warriors are chasing their first 2-0 start since 2009.
